Performance Grades

PG76 – PG-76-28

Petra Oil’s PG 76-28 is an advanced, polymer-enhanced asphalt binder tailored for use in regions that endure both scorching summer temperatures and extremely cold winters. Developed in alignment with Superpave performance grading, PG 76-28 offers high-temperature resistance up to 76°C and exceptional low-temperature flexibility down to -28°C, making it the optimal binder for climates with aggressive freeze-thaw cycles.

Engineered to perform under continuous vehicular loading and harsh environmental conditions, PG 76-28 helps pavements resist rutting, fatigue, and low-temperature cracking. It’s a dependable solution for high-performance infrastructure such as northern highways, airport surfaces, and long-haul logistics corridors.

PG 76-28 is manufactured in compliance with AASHTO M320, ensuring reliable performance, structural integrity, and long-lasting pavement life in cold-weather regions with high summer stress.

Key Specifications of PG 76-28:

•Performance Grade: PG 76-28
• High-Temperature Grade: 76°C
• Low-Temperature Grade: -28°C
• Standard Compliance: AASHTO M320
• Type: Superpave Performance Grade Asphalt Binder

Main Applications of PG 76-28:

• Cold-Climate Highways: Built for roads in northern and high-elevation zones with intense freeze-thaw cycles.
• Airports and Runways: Withstands both thermal extremes and heavy aircraft loading.
• Intercity Freight Corridors: Supports continuous loading and sub-zero weather resilience.

Key Benefits of PG 76-28:

• Excellent Low-Temperature Performance: Prevents thermal cracking in deep winter.
• High Resistance to Deformation: Resists rutting in high-load, high-heat conditions.
• Proven Durability: Extends pavement life under mechanical and thermal fatigue.
• Consistent Quality Assurance: Delivers reliable results in severe seasonal climates.
