Oxidized
Bitumen 115/15
Oxidized bitumen 115/15 is a type of bitumen that has undergone an oxidation process, making it harder and more durable compared to standard bitumen. Bitumen 115/15 has a softening point of around 115°C and a penetration grade of 15, indicating its viscosity and consistency. The number 115 refers to the softening point, while 15 indicates the penetration value, a measure of the bitumen’s hardness. Oxidized asphalt 115/15 is known for its enhanced stability, resistance to high temperatures, and improved waterproofing properties. This blown asphalt 115/15 is typically dark brown or black and is highly viscous, offering excellent resistance to weathering and aging.
Cutback RC 800
Rapid Curing 800 RC800 a combination of penetration grade asphalt cement and a diluent or cutter highly rapid in its volatility making it easier to apply. Cut back RC800 is compliant with ASTM standard for cut back asphalt.
Bitumen 10/20
Bitumen 10/20 is commonly used for the production of hot mix asphalt for the base and wearing courses.
Uses
Blown asphalt 115/15 is widely used in a variety of construction and industrial applications due to its durability and high resistance to heat. Bitumen 115/15 is commonly used in the production of roofing materials, such as bitumen shingles and membrane systems, where its waterproofing and weather-resistant properties are highly beneficial. Additionally, oxidized asphalt 115/15 can also be used in the manufacturing of waterproofing coatings, sealants, and adhesives.
