Performance Grades
PG76 – PG-76-16
Petra Oil’s PG 76-16 is a high-performance, polymer-modified asphalt binder engineered for climates that experience extreme summer heat and moderately cold winters. Designed in accordance with Superpave performance grading standards, PG 76-16 provides excellent high-temperature resistance (up to 76°C) along with reliable low-temperature flexibility (down to -16°C), making it an ideal solution for pavements subjected to high traffic and variable seasonal conditions.
This binder is formulated to deliver long-term resistance to rutting, fatigue, and thermal cracking—especially in urban networks, industrial zones, and expressways where heavy loads and thermal stress frequently interact. With robust thermal stability and mechanical strength, PG 76-16 ensures superior durability and reduced maintenance needs over the pavement’s lifecycle.
Compliant with AASHTO M320, PG 76-16 is produced under strict quality controls, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency for high-performance applications in transitional climate zones.
Key Specifications of PG 76-16:
•Performance Grade: PG 76-16
• High-Temperature Grade: 76°C
• Low-Temperature Grade: -16°C
